Following the novelist and poet’s steps, let the bucolic atmosphere of the Lac Tranquille catch you and enjoy the sight of the castle that you can also plan to visit. A legend says that the Cat Tower where Chateaubriand had his room was haunted by a former lord who transformed into a black cat.

In Combourg, you can enjoy a typical French street market every Monday morning. You can also take advantage of the many infrastructures and activities that this small town has to offer (swimming pool, movie theater, geocaching track, library, playground…)
